Hi all,
I'm looking at some of the more popular proteins at the store and they all have all sorts of additives. Artificial sweeteners like Acesulfame Potassium or Sucralose, and/or colors, artificial flavors etc.
All these things that are used to give the product a better taste and appearance might have negative health effects. I don't really want to go into a discussion about that. I'm only asking if there's a good quality CLEAN protein supplement without too many of those things.
Thanks

Nothing specific to stevia, but its use a sweetener is relatively new and untested. The companies always tout their products as super safe, but that it doesn't really mean anything. With other sweeteners, problems arise a bit later. I'm not impressed by it being "natural".
Some of the musclefeast stuff does look very very clean. Thanks!
musclefeast prices seem not too bad either, but the shipping, the shipping!Last edited by TE902; 04-10-2011 at 11:26 AM.

Scivation whey protein. I don't know if this works for you, but it's got a great protein yield (3% better than ON) and here's the facts:
Whey Powder Ingredients
Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate, Coca Powder (Dutch Process), Natural and Artificial Flavors, Xanthan Gum, Sucralose.
It's also got other great stuff in it such as phosphorus, potassium, and calcium. Mixes better than anything else I've ever had as well.-Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Wrestle.

I'd have to say that IsoNatural is as "clean" as it gets. Pure WPI.

Pretty clean otherwise.
Seems pretty standard, or maybe a bit less different ingredients, but nowhere near clean. Also putting a big "Aspartame Free!" slogan, but adding sucralose which is just a different artificial sweetener is not cool.
Yes. I actually found this one before seeing your message. I'll have to check the local stores.
