I use tuna heads for shark bait. When I start catching blues, I GTFO of that area, same with fukn Hardhead. Those 2 species make me fukn RAGE when I'm on the water!
The problem is if you don't balance it well it'll eat up crank or spindle bearings so a $20 repair becomes a $200 repair. Ain't worth it.

I hate catching blues when I am not fishing for them.... they are a friggen pain in the ass!!! I was out yesterday in the nice little cove smashing the blues when all of a sudden my rod CRANKED. I started realing it in and just about had it to the boat..... then it spit it out as it was coming up.... beautiful striper. It had to be a fluke because the water was way too warm and they usually don't feed on our top water **** around a buncha blues, but he smashed it.... I screamed some not so nice things at the fish as it swam away...

Got tomorrow off, I'll be bolting the rack on the truck and loading it up for a beach trip. Think I'll send the kids out to mow the grass and ask the wife to make me a meatloaf while I watch the Spurs win game 2 against the LA Floppers. I keep the ants around to clean skulls and such for me, as long as they're not in a walkway where the kids frequent I find them useful.

Well it looks like I can only log on during low traffic times...
In shocking news... My wife had today off and she mowed the whole 1.5 acres of lawn I still had left ahead of me. So I made her a nice lunch.
Got the washer and dryer hooked up today. The washer has a minor leak to it... But for $100 for the set I can't complain.
Been working my ass off in the garden and at the office... Making more money than I expected and basically starting a small hobby farm... More work than I thought it would be.
Wish I could go into more detail but I can only log on to BB.com for about 12 mins per day and only at night. But things are going really good for me. Better than they've ever gone before.
My old college mentor checked in on me with the new place and I think she put it best. "Happiness is living the challenges of your life on your own terms, and you've gotten as close to that as I've ever seen."6'4"

Glad to hear your moving into a great place in life. Anything similar to high school graduation? Mines in 9 days.

Jesus H... You're still in High School... You've been reading my metaphors all this time and you're still in High School...
Boy I can't guarantee that you won't suffer psychological scarring later in life... My stories and metaphors love to damage the mind more than Ronald McDonald loves double penetration!
But seriously... Congrats.
Graduating HS wasn't the beginning of a twisted adventure for me, it was a shining moment in the middle of a twisted adventure. Still that summer of 1994 was the best summer of my life... I still had fun like a teenager, but didn't yet suffer all the pain in the ass details that beat you in the face as a grown ass man who's totally responsible for himself.6'4"

I actually prefer your metaphors to much of what I've read this year. I think grilled cheese is more entertaining than Nathaniel Hawthorne and his scarlet alphabet. Actually I do get some good pointers and life lessons from this thread too. I'd prefer this thread than most of what pops up on my ******** news feed unless its a picture of a girl in scandalous situations! And thanks!
Thanks! Well I'll be off to college in the fall, but until then I'm not to sure what I'll be doing. I may be a staff member for a political campaign in my state, but if that doesn't work out I may become a farm hand for part of the summer. I also plan to fish quite a bit.

So my girlfriend used my good watering can to kill grass and weeds in the sidewalk and driveway last night. She used the "Kill everything" grass and week killer.
How many times am I gonna have to rinse that thing out before i can use it to water my veggie plants? The hardest part of a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited.
