well it wouldn't be so bad if scene kids just did't dance well, but on top of it they don't even know what goes on in a real hardcore pit. i have yet to see one scene kid use the pit properly and go side to side like you do at a real hc show. i mean, from what i remember if you weren't stompin/swinging or two stepping you were going side to side all the time.

i'm not a scene kid. i don't go to shows (besides the fact I'm going to warped tour for the first time this year). I just got into this kind of music when I got to college. And most of it is too hard for me to enjoy, so I like the stuff with clean vocals. I dont care how much screaming it has as long as it has some clean vocals. Thus, the groups and songs I listed.

Tbh I don't know what "scene kids" are, or what any of that shiit is all about. I just like listening to the music, that's it.

I started out only listening to stuff with clean vocals in it too. Now I prefer Brain Drill over Asking Alexandria. I was turned off by the vocal style of death metal at first, but the metal virtuosos can't be denied.

yeah a few kids in my hall of my dorm listened to it and i got into it. started lighter with like ADTR and worked my way up to of mice & men, AA, etc, so i'm getting there. i feel like i'm progressively getting into harder stuff. i.e. lamb of god, death before dishonor, but only when i lift

yeah i asked the kids that got me into it, they said scene kids are basically hot topic dwellers. my friends are not scene kids either... lol i'd never associate with such, we're all normal kids, just like the post-hxc music

I started with KsE. Thought it was soooo hard lol. Mainly like Marco Pitruzella, the drummer on BD's first LP. Dude is one of the fastest in the world, crazy blast beats and double bass. Sounds inhuman
