Off topic question here, but serious
Once I started losing weight the first time I noticed my wedding ring got loose. Now every time I lean out the ring keeps falling off. Sometimes I find the ring on the floor in my office. The other day I was cycling in the cold and I heard a ping on the asphalt, looked down to see my ring bouncing around. In the winter when I'm a little heavier it stays on no problem. I would stop wearing my ring but I really love my wife and the symbol of the ring. I know I can't be the only one with is situation, what do you guys do?

Perhaps get a smaller exact copy of your ring made, involve the wife in the process .. redo your vows perhaps and exchange new rings as part of the ceremony...
Other thought is have yours resized a small amount, somewhere inbetween that is ok at either your winter weight or summer weight ..
good luck, just dont lose the ring man !!

Same issue here. I had mine resized 1/4 size smaller. It worked perfectly and now is even a little snug. Only cost $40.
Proof that it's never too late to start:

I just bough a "winter" ring for the same issue. I have lost thirty five pounds and it falls off, especially in the cold.

I vote you do like the girls did in high school when their boyfriend would let them wear their class ring - wind yarn around the bottom until it fits.

I've lost 150lbs. since 2005 and my wedding ring is a size 15. A few weeks ago I took it and got it re-sized to a 11 1/2 and it still is too lose. I have to lose another 50lbs and plan to do it this year so I will just have it re-sized again. I keep it some place safe and the wife understands.

Thanks for everyone comments. Some good options for sure. I sent a link to this thread to the wife and after reading it we talked about it. I am going to see how much more weight I am going to loose and then have the ring sized somewhere in between the end weight and current weight. As least thats the plan until the next time the ring falls off. We will see.
