I searched this thread but I was still curious what YOU think would make an ideal peanut butter for bodybuilding. I'm adding calories and peanut butter sounded intresting, or even almond butter. I know hydrogenated oils are bad but I was also curious to whatis considered a "high" fat amount for peanut butter?

my ideal peanut butter is smooth "old fashioned" style. dry roasted (dark) unblanched peanuts, ground with the peanut skins left on. the skins show as speckles inside the jar and naturally sweeten the butter.
the only ingredients are peanuts and salt. a touch of salt brings out a little more flavor.

There is only one necessary ingredient in peanut butter: Peanuts. The added oil and salt are not necessary to make a delicious spread. You can make peanut butter yourself at home if you're patient (it takes about 10 straight minutes of blending in a food processor on high). Some grocery stores have grinders where you can make your own PB. Much better (and cheaper) than the jarred variety, and you'll never have to worry about it separating.

I like Krema. I think it tastes better than the PB with added stuff. Usually go through a jar of this a week.
Ingrediants: Peanuts.

I make my own peanut & almond butter. **** is good, here is a site where I get some ideas... Nut Butter Recipes, scroll down the the nut butter section. The cinnamon raisin pb is good and so is the roasted maple cinnamon almond butter. I'm going to make the chocolate chip cookie dough almond butter next.
