Does anyone ever seriously wonder why they still post on the Misc?

I've been browsing for the past hour or so and I seriously just started to wonder why I still post here. This place gets more pathetic by the day and miscers seem to have lost their common sense. They take what they read here so damn seriously and the attitudes are so unbelievably sad. I seriously just sat here for a minute or two wondering why I still have the Misc bookmarked

Which brings me to my next point: Why are miscers so concerned with getting girls? Most of what you see about height, money, facial aesthetics, and physique have to do with initial attraction. Attracting a girl and keeping a quality girl are two completely different things. Look like a model and be boring as hell and tell me how high the quality of your bond is with your girlfriend. Be rich and have the personality of a potato and tell me how high the quality of your bond is with your girlfriend. I can go on and on with this. You guys are starting to lose your common sense

i always try to avoid the thread titles you posted and there are still funny threads at times and a lot of gifs and pics used here make me actually lol. there is also some good advice threads here and some actually educated people. i joined recently but lurked for a while until i actually signed up.

You must be very unaware. Check my thread history. I made 3 threads spreading positivity around here and got a lot of PMs thanking me for helping them, but the Misc as a whole is still pretty pathetic and yet I keep coming back

The end of 09 was pretty much the turning point IMO. Malodrax was pretty much the first extreme case of FA's the misc had seen, and I believe that hit its peak around november of 09. Since then, there has been a steady influx of insecure *******s finding their way over here from /b/, /fit/, and now reddit. Its gotten absolutely pathetic.

I honestly wish making height debate threads, importance of facial aesthetics threads and a few other recurring threads were a mod neggable/bannable offense. I remember a time where I could find 10+ threads I wanted to read on the first page of misc. Now I often have to hit f5 a few times before I find a single thread that isn't some pathetic outcry by some insecure FA *******.
