    What muscles/exercises affect this?

Sometimes I look like the left guy and sometimes i look like the right guy, I always change my workouts so i don't know what exercises give me the look of the right guy.. I want to always look like the guy on the right.. what muscles are involved only the traps? or shoulders? front shoulders rear or side? and maybe bonestructure has something to do with it or lat width?..

Grow a little bitty goatee and hang out in a poorly lit, foggy room.

Sounds like you want upper traps. Shrugs are the most tried and true (will also hit levator scapulae).

The area u circled is affected by heavy incline chest work, upright rows and heavy strict OH presses, obviously big traps help
