    Hardcore HIIT Program

    Just switched to a new type of HIIT today using mountain climbers… I am using a 1:2 —work/rest ratio with a 30 second and one min interval. For the rest I am doing a casual walk around the garage if I’m not to gassed “sucks in the Florida heat” This is by far one of the best “HIIT” programs I’ve done and just wanted pass along the idea for anyone looking to get started.. HIIT does not have to be only sprint on the treadmill. The only thing I’m not 100% sure about is how many calories I am burning during the exercise; however I know the after burn and the EPOC (Excess Post Exercise Oxygen Consumption) are the biggest goals in mind. If anyone can give me a ballpark figure let me know. I’ve been putting 300 in my log books because I’m going balls out drop to the floor. (23y/M/6’1’’/185lb/9%).. Comments- questions feel free.
