I've watched shows on TV and what they said which really made sense:

There's almost no way a commercial airplane can hit the outer wall so low at an almost parallel level to the ground, especially at the speeds that it would have.

Think about that for a second...an airplane up in the sky is gonna descend who knows how many feet at whatever speed, and hit the pentagon wall basically parallel to the ground, maybe 5'-10' off the ground?

The airplane itself has to be at least a 250' or so, there's no way that thing can be parallel, 10' off the ground for any duration of time.
