The kitten is from a champion pedigree bloodline. It was hella expensive and they have a policy that they don't hand kittens over until they are at least 14 weeks old and litter trained.
The breeders also surveyed our house and surroundings to ensure it will be a good environment for the cat.Must rep 3VANGELIST three times!

My brother just got two of these. He got them because they are hypoallergenic and my niece is allergic to cats. They recommended getting two because they are very energetic cats and said that with only one, it will get into more mischeif by itself.
Most people get a running wheel for them too because they are so energetic. He built his own and the cats actually use it. They're cute though. Can't wait to see them full grown as they can end up almost as big as a medium sized dog.
Just a googled pic, but an example of an average sized adult bengal....

my bro had a white one with black pattern, he was ****ing crazy. He was bossing, pushing all of the male humans in the house for dominance, he had some wild temprament. When I went to see him for the first time he was behind the tv playing with the wires and I went to stroke him and the little bastard swiped me. My bro sold him now to some lesbian couple and they had him neutered (I don't agree with this) and that was the last I heard.
Good luck bro

Very jelly. If you don't mind me asking, how much will it be all said and done?
I get my cats from breeders. I've got a long hair Siamese that can be a show cat and do pretty well, but he's shy as hell. And I've got a black cat that we got from a breeder who specializes in Bombay black cats and he's twice the size of normal cats with a beautiful coat*Chefbrah Crew*

I was looking into getting a bengal. My old boss had a cool one. Don't know about dropping $600 on a cat though, when cats are pretty much free and all over the place. I can almost get a purebred dog for that.
How long can you leave one of these guys alone? I'd like to be able to spend a night or two away without coming home to a ripped out couch and crap everywhere. Like, if you get an automatic feeder and self-cleaning litter box, can you go a week away from home? Or do they get separation anxiety like a dog? Do they need a lot of attention?
Reps for good answers. I've been a dog guy my whole life but I don't have the living situation for one right now.
