From what I understand he died of a congenital heart defect that was unknown and went untreated... It's a very scary way to lose a family member.

There's also tons of news about his brothers steroid use and arrest for having steroids. I'm not saying he did them, but I'm saying that it was obtainable for him and he'd have a good person to help him with it if he did use. His results are either hard work or steriod use. It very well could be either, btw.. negging someone for asking a question is pretty funny, you hurt my feelings.. LOL

Why do you feel that's relevant or it's necessary to criticize the dead? Let alone someone who used to be a loved member of this forum? Regardless of how you feel about being "negged" you're coming across as pretty classless.

I didn't once insult him or say anything but he possibly could have used steroids and I thought that this forum was meant for natural bodybuilding threads. I dont mean to insult anyone, I'm just saying what I've read, and clearing up why I said it. I didn't even know who he was before I googled him.

I found he admitted to an 8 week cycle in 2006, and all I'm trying to say is that he isn't natural so why are we talking about his body. I didn't know he was a member of the forum and thats all someone had to tell me because then it makes sense to talk about him.

You can be critical of his choices without being insulting. The fact is that he is/was a role model for many young kids. Steroid use from a young age may not cause a heart attack but slap me around and call my Sally if it doesn't exacerbate a pre-existing condition.

Having said that, I don't think his steroid use was really the issue with his role-model status, as most kids wouldn't know it or refuse to believe it. Unfortunately, from what I have seen, he has almost single-handedly turbo charged a culture of kids that believe your status or worth is based on your physique. I preferred it when weightlifting was underground and not a way to gain status or feel superior to others / feed your own ego.

Honestly, I don´t have anything against Zyzz, but he is WAAAY overrated, some kind of male version of Paris Hilton, famous out of nothing.

Many users of this web have the same or even a better phisique than he does, and still have their humility
