creatine at night before bed (question)

i took creatine with my post-workout supplement and got up this morning being more pumped than ever. not only that but it lasted until the afternoon time and i was up since 7 am.

anyone can explain that? and if this is a good process to keep on or no? like maybe take half my creatine in my post-workout supplement and maybe half in my weight gainer before bed....

I don't think the creatine, itself, is what is getting you pumped. The way creatine works is that as it's absorbed, it's converted to creatine phosphate in your body, which is used for the formation of ATP, which then gives you extra energy stores. But I generally take mine a little before and while I workout in a gatorade mix. Then I take my protein after I'm done. But if you think it works for you, you might as well keep doing it. I don't think it can hurt you.

    This. PLA-SEE-BOW.

When you take the creatine is irrelevant.

well i agree with alot of the people in here, i dont think it's the creatine thats getting you pumped man. i usually just take my creatine pre and post workout and thats it for creatine for that day. i mean if that protocol works for you then keep it going but honestly i dont think that is the reason for the pump.

I take my creatine with my post workout shakes around 8 pm. Like others have mentioned, there is no "good" time to take it, as long as you take it daily. I have never noticed a pump from creatine with the exception of the bottle of C-bol I ran last month. I relate that to the nitrates possibly???
