I just got a job as one yesterday, some ****gets were tipping $1 dollar, are you serious?

Order comes to $9.67, driver gets $0.33. Order comes to $17.95, driver gets $2.05. Basically, I'm cheap and I'm too lazy to bother with change.

$1 plus $1 per pizza should be the standard, even if there is a delivery charge. But there are some people who just won't tip no matter what.

EDIT: FWIW most delivery drivers don't even get paid minimum wage anymore.

no delivery charge? every pizza i ever ordered has a delivery charge. I still tip like 2 bucks so they dont spit in it.


At the end of the day, a delivered pizza is way too much money and should be picked up. almost any city/suburb has a pizza place within 5 mins.

It has nothing to do with being cheap (as you said in my CP), it has 100% to do with the principle. Be rational. Come to think of why it makes no sense.

Parents own a pizza restaurant and people tip the delivery drivers around $1-$10 roughly 50% of the time, it all depends on the person I guess
