I've heard that if you do not do high reps when doing ab exercises you will end up with a large hard mass of a stomach with still out line of a six pack if your bf% is low enough. You will not end up with shredded looking abs. Is this true? If so at least how many reps should I Doing to prevent a bucket belly? I've been doing at least 20reps per exercise and my abs seem halfway between being a bucket and shredded. It May be that my BF% is not low enough yet to be shredded not sure. Its @ 10%.

I "have heard" a lot of things.
This is why we avoid the passive voice. It matters who says these things.637/390tng/615 - belt/wraps, best gym lifts.
600/370/600 - best competition lifts.
575/330/560 - best competition lifts at 181 raw.

Are you looking for that narrow waisted shredded look? If you work your core heavy you will have a strong core that is large in proportion to your chest etc. At least that is what I have been able to figure out. The one time I cut down weight my belly was not a tiny skinny belly. You could tell there was some mass there.

I was boozing with a bunch of skinny *******s who don't even lift (I think they do...but their mass is embarrassing)....boozin, playin beer pong, dancin with the small group of 6/10's we have access too. These *******s were like trying to impress with their skinny abs and I was like...ah hell nah...busted out the bucket gut abs and ruined all their game (srs).
