Dextrose Question
Is it recommended to consume Dextrose after you workout? I heard it has something to do with getting your insulin back in check? Curious to know if this is true, about how much should be consumed, and is it just meant for mainly post workout?

I'm a big fan of adding oats to my post workout shake but others really like dextrose . . . try a few different methods and see whatcha like best as everyone responds differently.

Ok, so oats or dextrose. (I usually consumded Cytogainer) Im just curious on how much is recommended for both, dosage wise? Like how many cups of oats, how many tablespoons of dextrose, etc.

I'm not a big dextrose user but as for oats I usually add 1 cup of oats per serving of protein . . . For my post workout shake I use 2 cups oats 2 scoops (2 servings) of protein powder mixed in 16oz skim milk (I'm not a big fan of mixing my protein powder with water)
