For Peanut Butter Lovers that want to Cut

I love peanut butter, alot of us do. But I Have been cutting and cutting out PB from my diet has helped me. However, One thing that has helped that I recommend is Sugar Free Peanut Butter syrup. I got some off amazon prime and have put it in my shakes now alot. It has been great, giving me a good peanut butter taste in my shake and you can add as much as you want, it is 0 cal. Just thought I would let you guys know that sugar free PB syrup is bomb. anyone else use sugar free syrups?

PB is my weakness. It's not uncommon for me to down 1-2k calories worth of PB and bananas sometimes after a good workout, but I limit that to a couple times per month.

As for the "you can use as much as you want, cuz it's 0 cals": be careful with that. If a serving size is less than 5 calories, they can state it is 0 calories on the Nutrition Info. If you use enough servings, it could add up (this goes for anything listed as 0 cals)

I've been cutting for a while now and PB is still a staple of my diet. I put some in the morning oatmeal for a delicious boost. Some oats, 2 tbsp of PB, a little sweetener, and i'm good to go, 14g of protein too. Its a good breakfast if you're running out and you cant cook eggs. Add a protein shake too if you want to get more protein in there.

Besides, you need your fats in your cut too. The goal will be keeping the protein up, restricting carbs a bit, so you're gonna have to keep your fats up too. Keep those testosterone levels up

Totally agree on the fats! PB is very calorie dense though so I can see where guys shy away from it on a cut. Its not hard to use 350 calories of PB on your morning toast.

Yeah theres def no doubt about that. However mixing it into things is a much easier way to control it. I found eating PB by itself or spread on something you tend to overuse. But mixing it in with oatmeal, or with a shake, you use less than you'd expect. But then again if you're cutting you should be measuring everything anyway :P

Teddie Old Fashioned (unsalted) peanut butter is a staple in my diet, whether I'm cutting or bulking. I usually have 4-5 tablespoons/day, and usually just use the measuring spoon as a spoon and eat it plain. Delicious.

What PB is 14g protein for 2tbsp? Usual is 2 TBSP = 7-9g protein, or were you counting the protein in the oats too?

Yeah protein + oats. 14g protein, 350 cals 33g carbs, 19g fat. Good way to get those morning carbs to start off the day, because as the day goes on, my carbs get lower and lower
