BACKGROUND
So here are the basics I have been lifting consistently for the past 10 years, almost constantly yo-yoing from 240 to 220 and occasionally breaking into the 210s. I am sick of it. No more half-assing things. From now on I WILL BRING IT in everything I do. The goal here is not a short term weight loss, but a lifestyle change. Each day I will be working hard to meet my goals. Oddly enough this whole change was sparked by something that I am embarassed to still watch.....
To constantly remind me of my motto I have copied this picture and stuck a copy of this at work, in my car, and on my fridge at home, as well as one in my workout journal
Sometimes inspiration comes from weird places. I guess you could say I am joining team BRING IT
THE BEGINNING
Pics
Weight
242.8lbs
Waist
43 inches
CURRENT PROGRAM
Wendler's 5/3/1 program
For those not aware here is a write up on it:

I will also fit in:
Swimming: once a week
Pi-Yo: on Sunday
Additional Cardio: Usually one more day of cardio hopefully with my daughter.
GOALS FOR THE WEEK
I am going to set a goal each week so that I have something to strive for. I will be setting new goals and checking the old one's off every Wednesday. This week's goal is simple:
1) Track all food - no matter how bad it is
2) Lose 3 lbs
3) Get more than 1 rep on my last set of all 4 big lifts!
THE PAYOFF
For those of you have followed me before you know about this section, for others this is where I reward myself and you with a half-naked woman at the end of my journal posts like this:

4-5-11
WORKOUT
Deadlift 3x3
Warm-Up sets in grey
2-3 minute rests for Deadlifts, 1 min for all others
Cardio Warm-Up
Elliptical Trainer
10 minutes
147 calories burned
0.81 miles
Deadlift
45x15
135x8
225x8
315x3
355x3
400x4.5 Rep PR!
This is definitely a rep PR for me. I have never really used this much weight for reps before. Usually it was just singles building up to my 1RM. I am really starting to love this program!
Hoist Leg Curl
183x10
183x10
183x10
183x10
183x10
+16lbs from last week on all sets! I think I can go up one more notch and still make all 5 sets of 10. Its hard though because I want to make sure I am focusing on hitting my main lift and using this as an assistance move.
Decline Situp
I went to do Leg Presses as they are next on my program but some lady was using it, or at least that is what she told me. I did all 5 sets of decline situps and she hadn't used the Leg Press once yet. The whole time she was just chatting with her husband, who was also not doing anything. I was getting angry.
Bumped these up to holding a 10lb plate behind my head
10x10
10x10
10x9
10x8
10x6
I can't beleive how much of a difference holding 10lbs made. I am going to stick with this till I can get 5 sets of 10
Leg Press
So I go over now and ask the lady about the leg press again
Me: Are you still using the Leg Press?
Dumbkunt: I am just bouncing around so you can have it.
I just rolled my eyes and started loading up plates.
430x10
430x10
430x10
430x10
430x10
+20lbs from last week on all sets! Unlike the Leg Curls I feel like the weight I am using right now is really close to the max I can use and still hit all 5 sets. I may just bite the bullet and try 450 next week.
All in all it was a great workout, even with the flow being messed up, and some raging allergies I have going on. I was proud of my workout today and that is what I want to feel everyday!
NUTRITION
I will being posting my nutrition totals from now on here. Unfortunately since I knew I was getting back on the diet today I didn't eat very well yesterday. It was my last binge before this journey so I am cool with that.
