Most Reliable & Accurate Home Scale?

I used to weigh myself Wednesday mornings on a balance beam scale (doctor's office style) at my gym, but I stopped going to the gym before work. My current digital scale is only a couple years old and was pretty expensive but is awful... I had to weigh myself five times this morning because the results ranged 20lb, and I still don't how much I weigh. Has anyone found a reliable home scale? The price doesn't matter as long as it's accurate. Thanks!

I'm just going to buy a balance beam scale. Cheaper ones range from $150 - $200, and it's going to look strange in my apartment, but at least I'll be able to accurately weigh myself.

Shouldn't be that difficult.

My digital scale from Costco was $30 and is incredibly consistent to 0.1 pounds.

Hard(no carpet), level floor is critical.

I keep mine on level hardwood. Even when I get consistent readings on digital scales, the numbers don't seem accurate.

i have a digital i weight on carpet but it has special carpet feet on my scales im not bothered if it isnt accurate its not gonna make a huge difference when i want it to go down

Try to look up analog scale from Salter on Amazon. I find it works very well and accurate. Just make sure to keep it on a hard surface like wood or concrete, NOT on a carpet.

Inexpensive too.

Just get the one I suggested from Wal-Mart.

Look at the reviews on it.

I can get on that scale 10 times in a row and the pounds will be the same every time and the ounces may change twice if that.

Mine is within about a pound of the scale at my gym and who knows..maybe mine is more accurate.... Real accuracy isn't as important as consistency, unless you are trying to make a weight class or something.

$25 at Walmart. Take a chance.

If that doesn't work, maybe you'd better give up on scales and stick to the mirror. Those work for you, don't they?

Agreed on the scale.... Naturally your end goal is the mirror but its nice to quantify those small steps along the way.

The scale motivates me just as much if not more than the mirror.

It lets me know im making progress a lot of times when the mirror and how I feel don't.
