Then the answer is no, You do not do full body workouts 6 days a week. You work each muscle group twice a week.

Adding ab work twice a week is ok but not necessary

Some say once a week is enough, and my hats off to those people that can acquire a good midsection with that little of effort. For me, with a good diet, I have to do cardio in the morning and a minimum of 3 days of direct weighted ab workouts.

Although, I do them 5 days a week as not to break my routine.

Bc he most likely took it as you train the same muscle groups 3 days in a row( that's how your answer came off) which isn't the smartest thing to do obviously. Train your abs like any other muscle group.. With rest days in between. Good luck with your goals

Why would you want to train your abs so many days in a row? If you want abs get your diet in check.

how many times we gonna ask this question? (not you personally, but this question has been beat like a dead horse, do a search)

abs are no different then any other muscle...except smaller, so they recover quicker. so maybe a 2-3x a week max, with days off inbetween for recovery.

    8 sounds about right

like others said, like any other muscle group. personally I only directly train my abs hard once a week.
year 2 will be better than year 1, as i've had a year to realize how little I really knew.

You train biceps before back? That should negatively impact your back exercises because your biceps assist in back exercises with the exception of pullovers. If you worked your abs after your legs on the second day, that should do. You can't train in six pack abs.

Your workout is similar to a push-pull routine.
A push-pull routine would be the following:

    1st day chest, shoulders, triceps
2nd day quads, leg biceps, and calves
3rd day Back, traps, and Biceps

Abs can be the final muscle group for any day.
How can you visualize training a muscle if you don't know its structure?

Yea I saw that too. The only time you should train your bi's before back is if your back is so incredibly strong and big, that you want your bi's to fail before your back due to pre-exaustion from the bicep training.

Maybe I didn't word my question right. OP, how many days in a row do you work, for example, your chest.

Unless abs are some kind of magical muscle, which respond differently to being worked, it would seem to me to be a waste of time to train them everyday. Perhaps a few times per week would be better.

That is pretty much exactly my routine. Is there really an importance to the order of exercises? In the last couple of weeks I decided to mix up body parts on my 3rd day Back, traps, and Biceps. I used to do three back exercises, then two for the biceps, then three for the traps. The problem was after the back exercises, I didn't have a lot left for some decent curls, so I now do one back, two bicep, two back, then traps. Is there something wrong with doing it this way?
    Thanx in advance

I weight train for bodybuilding. That means I train muscle groups for size and aesthetic proportions. That being said, I prioritize the intensity in training a muscle group based on those two criteria. If my biceps were deficient, then I would train biceps on a separate day. I don’t have a lot left for a heavy biceps routine when I train back first. My biceps response well to the less than possible maximum training in regards to maintaining a symmetrical physique.

If you feel your biceps are lagging, then you may want to train them on a separate day after your back training. Alternating between back and biceps on the same day may deteriorate your back training.
How can you visualize training a muscle if you don't know its structure?

^ exactly my point, why I said the only reason you should train bi's before back is if your back is incrediblly strong and overdeveloped and you want your bi's to fail before your back during a workout.
I do not sugar coat things, but you got in the condition you're in by "sugar coating."
