I have been wondering this along with some of my friends. What is the best way to mix this up when the goal is to burn body fat and put on muscle.
I have two possible programs.
Monday - Weight training.
Tuesday - Cardio
Wednesday - Weight training
Thursday - Cardio
Friday - Weight Training
Saturday - Cardio
or
Monday - Cardio for 30 to 40 mins and then Weight Training.
Tuesday - Cardio for 30 to 40 mins and then Weight Training.
Wednesday - Cardio for 30 to 40 mins and then Weight Training.
Thursday - Cardio for 30 to 40 mins and then Weight Training.
Friday - Cardio for 30 to 40 mins and then Weight Training.
I figure some of you are experts, so someone should know.

In my experience, I felt the best effects from my cardio and bodybuilding when I separated them throughout the day. For example, Lifting in the morning and cardio at night - or something like this. It helps get the most out of each session without lack of energy. I know it is not time efficient, so if you are going to do them together, I would do 30 min cardio AFTER your weight training. hope this helps

If weight training is your primary focus, do your cardio afterwards.
However, either one of your ideas will work. Do it however makes you happy.
I personally do 10-20 minutes of cardio after my lift sessions.-

i agree with Chazzy. i like my cardio after my workouts or just seperated from the gym completely if i need to keep the gym time shorter.
also putting cardio after legs seems to help speed up recovery.... that could just be a mental thing though so if it is false i dont want to know lolYou would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.
