Question Beef Protein Isolate vs. Whey Protein Isolate?

What's better between the two protein powders? They say beef is, but is it really? Anyone had first hand experience with this powder? Is it worth the extra money you have to put down? I see a 1lb. Beef protein isolate powder here in the BB store for 51$. FOR 1lb!

Anyways. the point is, noticeable difference? Comments/Tips/Suggestions/Help GREATLLLY apreciated. Thanks.

I'd personally rather $51 of beef (even though less protein)

I would stick to actual beef for beef

(I'm a big fan of whey as it's cheap and good quality!)

That price is insane. True Protein carries BPI for 10.99/pound. I know many people love it, but I don't have personal experience with it.

I'd love to see any research putting BPI head to head against beef from whole food (i.e. steak) or even whey for any issues relevant to our community such as LBM gains, strength gains, reduction in LBM on a cut, etc.

The beef I have with beef powder is its too beefy for shakes and brownies, so I would way rather have whey in every way.

Back in the day, I used Weider beef protein powder for a while (I know, I know; but I wasn't thinking clearly back then). It was impossible to dissolve; it would just clump up. And it tasted terrible. I finally wised-up, and just started eating meat regularly (oh noez; teh cholesterolz and teh sat fatz!)

Don't know if any of that has changed, and I don't plan to find out. Unless you're somehow so pressed for time that you can't cook up a burger, I'd suggest you step away from powdered beef and just go for the real stuff. Some things just can't be improved upon; steak is at the top of that list, IMO.

As far as beef vs. whey powder, they're just protein.
