here's the story
my buddy and his GF were arguing and his GF literally punches him in the head 2-3 times
he then snaps and punched her in the head which led to her swinging at him like 10 times
after a while he smacks her in the face
his GF is blaming the whole thing on him...what is your opinion?

There are two kinds of violent women.
Type A uses violence against a man as a last resort. If Type A slaps or punches me in the face, its probably because I've done something so hurtful, that she is at this point completely out her mind. Retaliating against violence from type A is ****gy and does not make you a man.
Type B uses violence as her first choice because she feels like she can get away with it. If type B slaps or punches me in the face, I'll send her to the intensive care unit.

I told my wife in the beginning of our relationship, "Whatever you do, don't hit me. I will hit you back. Its a natural thing for me and I can't control it"
she never hit me, I never hit her.
Why is this so hard for people to comprehend?
Lets say I go slap a silverback gorilla in the face... is it now "wrong" for him to hit me back because he's 800lbs bigger than me? fukk that, my dumb ass shouldn't be hitting gorillas.10k+

It's not about it being a reflex or not.
If you want to take it to a certain level, expect the other person to meet you at it. Strong WK presence ITTEveryone betrays everyone

My mother, Yes. The main women in my life raised me never, ever to hit a women under any circumstances. Because its below me and in the end will bring me nothing but trouble.
What do you think happens when a women hits me 10 times and i hit her once? Its not her spending the night in lock up. Not to mention how many real life situations that i've seen that have followed these exact guidelines.
If that makes me a WK sign me up.

Is it really that hard to treat others with the respect that you want given to you?
What the fukk is wrong with you *******s that think the world should have special privileges due to the genitalia of the individual?
You hit me, I hit you back. You hug me, I hug you back. You suck my D, I go down on you (no homo)... Fair is fair.10k+

physical violence is never acceptable, regardless of anyone's gender. sure, people lose their control sometimes, but nobody should ever lose control to the point where you go overboard. if you do, you have anger problems. that's all. women who hit men usually don't get any trouble about it, but these things almost always escalate. don't let a woman hit you because it doesn't hurt. next time it could be a knife or a gun or...well, you get the idea. guy should have tried to remain calm and just leave, or restrain her and then take himself away from a threatening situation, since not only has he stooped to her level, but he's also the guy in this, so he'll get in more trouble. but i can understand why he ended up reacting the way he did. it's hard to stay so calm when someone else is not. the girl is to blame for how she was acting, but that doesn't ever give the other person (whether a man or a woman) to retaliate. defending yourself is one thing, but actually fighting with someone is an entirely different situation, and shows a lack of control. your friend's girlfriend should get anger management problems, and your friend should probably move on (unless he's serious about her, then maybe stick with her and see how her anger problems improve).
personally, i wouldn't ever hit a woman. not because she's a woman, but because i'd rather not escalate a situation if i can help it. if i have to defend myself then fine. if i end up causing her injury in the process then that's fine too, but i wouldn't actually lose it and attack her like she was attacking me. if it was a man i wouldn't either, because it's just not the way i do things. also, women tend to be physically weaker, so i think it's pathetic to attack someone the way they're attacking you when you know you're going to hurt them more than they can hurt you. you can do a lot more damage, and it's like if a kid hits you with as much force as possible, so you do it back. just doesn't seem right.Last edited by TheCoffinDancer; 03-29-2011 at 11:56 PM.

Actually thats a funny story.
I had a cousin beating my ass when i was like five. My mum was like "why didn't you stop her" and i'm like you told me NEVER hit a girl. And she said "well i'll have a talk with her"
My cousins ass hurts to this day.
But then again, the violence rule didn't apply to my older brothers so i'm not so sure it isn't a sexism thing.

is it really such a big issue for you or the other person that you actually need to discuss it and set rules? i guess it's cool that way because you both know completely where the other person stands on the subject, but...i've never had anyone say to me 'by the way, don't hit me or i'll hit you back' or anything. it's just kind of...assumed that you're not going to attack the person you're with.

Well, here's a few more for you:
I don't like my balls licked. I know some guys do, but I don't. So don't do it.
I don't like fingers in my butthole. It doesn't feel good to me, it feels bad. So don't do it.
I leave the toilet seat up. Its more convenient overall and ensures there's no pee on it when you go to use it. If that's a problem, I can try and appease you, but I won't remember 100% of the time, because its not what I'm accustomed to.
If I'm 15 minutes or more late for something and you haven't gotten a phone call, call the hospitals and jails. Either way, something is very wrong. I don't expect the same from you, but I do expect you to try to reciprocate my behavior. I offer it, I should get it in return.
Yes, everything should be discussed and laid out at some point of a relationship. I've never dated a clairvoyant, so I don't know what its like to not have to speak to get your point across.10k+

This girl was drunk and punching me one time. the first connected, but I kept laughing for some reason because of having a girl attack me. The laughing made her more pissed, as did my evading her. It was hilarious.
Moral of the story: laughing in a woman's face is an effective weapon, and wont get you in legal trouble like hitting them in the face
