60 years YOUNG and loving it!!!!!!
Well, I finally hit the dreaded magic number, that for some reason, I found scarier than any others I have hit so far....
But I couldn't have had a nicer birthday present yesterday, as my youngest son, Scott, came over in the afternoon to do a workout with me.
And here I am, the new 60 man, making my young 'un, the Phys ed teacher, the personal trainer, moan and groan, as he tried to keep pace with a killer chest/lat/shoulder workout that I put him through! LOL.....
Then later, that evening, when my wife and I were at a Charity event in her school district that featured the Harlem Wizards, at half time, when her "team" of teachers were doing some shoot arounds, I got on that floor and was draining J's, like it was nothing....
and why not? I mean, the way we blast our legs, and our shoulders, why shouldn't we have spring in our step and strength in our shoulders releasing the ball?
If I could freeze this moment in time, I sure would, as, it is wonderful to still be able to do everything and anything you used to do and still do......and I remember well, several generations before me, where, man, you looked OLD when you were 60.....looked old and were old....
today I'll be out there rowing for miles and doing my fishing thing....
just loving it..and life........
(BTW: next week, will have a big bad party on SAT night, as I put it off so that my Sister, coming back from Florida, would be able to attend. 40 plus people will help me formally celebrate and eat a whole lot of no no's! LOL....)

Happy Birthday brother! 60 isn't that bad. I got to thinking the other day. My Father retired early at around 55. I'll be 52 in August. The thought and realization just struck me somehow! LOL We're getting old! (older) Hope you have a wonderful time with family and friends!!!
