Repped!
I've seen these before, but they are still just as impressive. He is perhaps one of the few close to Malanichev's level on squats.637/390tng/615 - belt/wraps, best gym lifts.
600/370/600 - best competition lifts.
575/330/560 - best competition lifts at 181 raw.

I came within 15 lbs of my raw squat pr in the gym at a meet, didnt go through a proper training cycle any time i've competed, and have competed twice in meets with no money invested really.
he competed at IPF worlds, and is an elite experienced competitor
100 lbs off on total =/= over 100 lbs off on one lift alone
laughable comparison really

He got 633 his first dl meet only at raw unity meet, jan 31, 2010 (Way before first pulling 705)
He first pulled his 705 deadlift in his sheiko skill evaluation about 3 months later (May 6)
First full meet was a few days after that and he got a 635 deadlift
Last meet Oct 10, 2010.........680 deadlift

i made 650 easily, missed 700 for a third due to a lower back strain 2 weeks out from my first meet
981 was his third at IPF worlds
again, retarded comparison
I don't know how you think its rational to compare 100 lbs off my total in a meet I trained 2 weeks for and squatted high bar, to him trippling raw 100 lb under his geared PR.

I think the 815x7 is the most impressive of the three. High rep set, full squats with... 800+ lbs!
absolutely bonkers. Anyone know if he's gonna compete at the upcoming thing Malanichev and Belyaev do every year? Cup of Titans... or was it Cup of Champions?"It seems like your goal is not to help."

Lol @ the spotters in the first video... that guy standing way back with his hands just kind of following the weight. Whats the point of even pretending you are doing anything? Probably be better to just get out of his way, lol.

Malanichev's best belt and wraps squat is 992 and and his best suited is only 1036 (both untested). I don't think these guys lift in their suits much and treat it like, "I'll throw it on meet day and see what I get out of it." I don't see how these videos are unreasonable giving all the other things that differ between the contest and training.Last edited by Donut62; 04-14-2011 at 09:07 PM.

and in malanichev's case, Im sure many people would be skeptical as to the very small difference between his raw and equipped squat had he not actually hit 992 in a comp as opposed to in the gym where you cant measure up the plates. granted he does prove such a small difference is possible, but its certainly not the norm and may or may not be the case with this guy.

good example man
using gear doesn't guarantee you will lift x more pounds, it takes a lot of skill to use it and you have to train a lot with it to get most out of it. These russian lifters i doubt train much with gear at all and usually put up ridiculous raw totals compared to a lot of other ipf lifters.updated 2011
