New to Virginia Beach

Hey everyone, just moved to VA beach from jersey and so far im enjoying it.. just curious if anyone has input on the best gyms/supp stores in the area.. thanks!!

station in portsmouth n my base has some nice equipments but nnsy has nice chest idk about the other bases some r good some arent but if ur military u can check them all out....1 for sure i know that good is 1life in norfolk its non military but is extra good n i heard planet fitness was aswell but i went there and it was too crowded

Welcome to Va Beach and surrounding areas.

I am a member of "One Life Fitness". They pretty much have the market here. They were formally "Golds", but wanted to get out of the franchise tag fees and branch off. There are some planet fitness around and Bally's (yuck)...but as a 10 year member of Golds/One Life, I am kinda loyal.

As far as supplements go, order them online if ya can get away with it. GNC, Vit Shoppe are abundent, but if they are not running a sale forget about it.

The are very few ma and pa operations in the area. Couple in VA. Beach I know of, but not all that cheap either.

bud, if you want the best gym in the hampton roads area..... hit BRUTE STRENGTH GYM on poplar hall road. they have everything you could want!! powerlifting,olympic lifting,strongman..... the list goes on and on. dont cave to the commerical feel good "gyms" you want results, you want a excellent workout and over the top workout enviroment ..... get to BRUTE.

What's going on man? Welcome to VA Beach, Im from NYC so it takes a bit to get used to it here haha...You can try OneLife fitness or Bally's...Don't go to Planet Fitness, it's always packed and barely any machines..
