yeah but idk about your case everyone is different. My foreskin was an ok size its just my frenlum was too short making it pull the skin tighter on my penis not allowing me to pull it over. Just do a little research on cutting the frenlum to help with phimosis.

oh btw, i read about creams but apparently it just thins the skin which makes it easier to stretch, it's not meant for that purpose (apparently, could be wrong).. do you have to do it all the time because i heard the skin gets tight again if you don't keep putting cream on it

you can also do it without the cream itll just take longer. depending on how tight ur foreskin was in the beginning, could be from a few weeks to a few months from beginning to finish. start with one two fingers stretch then three fingers stretch etc.
also once u get it so that u can pull the skin past ur head maintain it for a while and then you'll never need to do it again

It hurts after and for the rest of the day. Pain gets a bit better the next day but walking is a bit tough. Then maybe 3-4 days the pain gets a lot better and in like a week or two the pain is completely gone.

The FACT is, circumcision results in diminished sexual pleasure for both the user and the reciever (the man and the woman) during intercourse. If everybody understood this simple fact, then all the other petty "pro vs con" arguments about circumcision would evaporate and this backwards practice would cease to exist.

OP, don't go and get part of your dick chopped off. The only people who will convince you that it's a good idea are those who are making money from it. There are other cures for phimosis. Just google it.

I am 21.. i have a condition called phimosis (look it up if you don't know) where i have stupidly long skin which causes sex problems (not masturbation) and just pretty much sucks, i've had it for years but really want to get it sorted now that i'm actully having sex with women

you obviously dont know what phimosis is. It has nothing to do with the length of your skin but rather your ability to retract your foreskin past your glans. If this is the case, i'd recommend getting circumcised OP, or at least having it partially cut/loosened because the inability to do so is unhygienic and overall sucks cause your penis looks retarded when it's erect.

OP, I had phimosis and was circumcised when I was 16 years old, as suggested by a specialist.

16 years old isn't as late as yourself, but it's still pretty much as adult as you're gonna get anyway.

My experience with the operation and recovery:

It was an outpatient procedure, and I was put out under anesthetic for it. Upon arrival I changed into a gown, got on the bed and a nurse came in and hooked up an IV port in the top of my hand. The anesthesiologist came in and started it going into my vein. Somewhat odd tingling-burning sensation throughout my hand/arm at the beginning.

A short while later, dude comes in to wheel me over to the operation room. The anesthetic hadn't fully kicked in so they use the mask and tell me to count back from 10. Last number I remembered was 8.

Next thing I know, I wake up and I'm in the recovery room. The wake-up is gradual as the anesthetic wears off, I can move my eyes at first, but nothing else. A minute later I can turn my head. etc etc. They keep me for one or two hours while it wears off, and I'm eventually able to get up out of the bed on my own accord.

While changing back into my clothes I look at it and it's bandaged from the base of the shaft, all the way up to the bottom of the head (which, like you, I had never seen before). I don't mess with it, but it doesn't hurt as the anesthetic is still slightly there and they already gave me some other painkillers.

Recovery went well and was surprisingly quick. They prescribe you painkillers, which I took. I stayed in bed for 3 or 4 days just chillin on the meds. 4th day I took the bandage off and saw the stitches. They used the dissolving stitches which last long enough for it to heal but you don't have to get them removed. I think they were all gone after 2 or 3 weeks.

I will note that I was deathly afraid of getting an erection and splitting the stitches. Also, after it healed I was scared of whackin it too hard and tearing the freshly-healed flesh. So I managed to fend off an erection for 1 month and fapping for 1.5 months. It's probably not necessary to wait that long though, so use your own discretion.

I was a virgin at the time and had sex for the first time 5 months after the operation, so I can't say if its different with or without. As far as fapping, it feels different, but there was no loss of sensitivity, it just takes getting used to. Also, the head will now be exposed 24/7; it will tough up over time but after being shielded by your foreskin for your whole life it will be an odd sensation, wear softer underwear for a while.

All in all, I'm glad I got the operation done.


Hopefully this gives you some insight into adult circumcision. I know cutting into your dick sounds horrible (I thought so at the time as well), but it's not as bad as it sounds. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. I don't want to sway your decision one way or another as that's something you need to decide for yourself, but I figure experience from someone who's been there can't hurt.

I had my circumcision done 7 years ago. I told my mom and explained to her what it was. She was pretty understanding about it. Got snipped and I'm glad I did.

I told my mom and she was very understanding. Just explain what it is and note that it is a medical ailment, and they sound be fine with it. It's covered by insurance.

As for going to the doctor, I went by myself for the initial checkup and the resulting referral appointment with the specialist, but had my mother drive me to/from the hospital on the surgery date as we felt it would be unsafe for me to drive so soon after coming off of anesthesia.

Judging by your age, I guess you won't be able to drive. As for having your parents there with you, don't worry, I doubt either parent will want to be in the room when the doctor actually looks at you. If they don't get the hint, just politely ask them to leave for the sake of your privacy.

Hey Ed, due to your age I feel uncomfortable speaking too explicitly about this stuff, but I want you to know that it's not rare for a guy you age to not have a retractable foreskin, and it's also not uncommon for a doctor who does not have any idea why a man would want a foreskin to suggest you pay him a bunch of money to cut it off. You need to learn a lot more about this before you make any big decisions. I suggest that you go to the CIRP website and read about the function and purpose of the foreskin. There is a section on phimosis, poor diagnosis and conservative treatments. One paper in particular is important, by Michel Beauge out of France...it talks about masturbation as a phimosis cure for teens..he didn't have any patients who followed his advice who still needed circumcision, it seems like reasonable advice in the medical report.
