Haha, hopefully by the time you come out ill have a little more to work with. I started back at Bass Pro last week and between the ride there, my shift, then the ride back I have like an hour of daylight left. Sucks. But hey, itll get there. Ill be a weekend warrior, lol. Have you still got that book?

There are 2 companies that i know of that sell the molds .
I have a 170 lb mold , i made 7 working stones with it 150lbs - 225lbs
http://www.slatershardware.com/stonemolds.html
the new mold 245 lbs , 1 today and plan on many others over the summer

cement bags range from $3.00- $5.00 each . 40lbs -80 lbs per size
I prefer quikrete products - 80 lb pro strength , anti crack with fibers

For a pullup bar ( and inverted situp bar ) I once made a giant saw horse of sorts using five 8' - 2x4's and an old bar laying around the house.
Once the supports were attached to the top /\ joint to form triangles and (made of plywood) and a middle support for stability it worked great for 3 years.
You could also go out and buy a cheap swingset for kids at a yardsale and use the frame in a myriad of ways.
I use my sons support poll for inverted rows like they do in the above picture, and being only 5'7" I use the main bar as a pullup bar bend the knees and you get full motion
I was just thinking of a way to build a Squat Rack/Dip station combo to have outside as I don't have room in the house for them. I would need a place way to store the weights though so they don't get damaged from the moisture.

This could easily have extended pullup 2x4's with holes drilled in the center back there near the squat section for pullup bar.

Cool. Thanks for making that video.
It was interesting seeing the pockets and imperfections in the stone once you'd removed the mold. I was surprised to learn that you use different products for dealing with the large imperfections versus the smaller stuff around the equator.
(Can't rep you again right now because I need to spread some more around first.)

Hey guys!
Sorry its been a while on the updates. It would take too long to try to explain everything, but long story short: I started going back to work, which is an hour and a half away from my home and therefore the outdoor gym. So when Im home, Im eating, sleeping, and taking care of what needs to be done around the place. The gym has started growing up again but nothing like it was in the beginning. Just wanted to let everyone know that the project hasnt been forgotten, just delayed. As soon as I can Ill get more done and put up more pictures and info.
Btw, excellent find on the squat rack, I loved it.Always forward

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?
