I can't edit the subject but I mis-typed, it should have said 17 month progress pictures
I originally posted these in the over 35 section but I figured it would possibly be a better fit here and I might meet some new folks in this forum.
My current goals are to complete my existing 90 day strength training routine and bench press over 250. Next to add in cardio for another 60 days and loose at least 10 pounds of body fat while maintaining my new personal best lifts (that will be hard I know). I had been loosing weight but I've put on 6 pounds over the past few weeks. I'd like to think it's muscle since my lifts have all gone up, I can do the rack 255lb on leg extensions, 180 on leg curs, 212 on the seated row machine, 110lb on two arm curls (clean lifting with little to no momentum).
Over the past 58 days I've also added 20lb to my bench press (225 to 245). I've been concentrating on the negative portion of the lifts with my workout partner for strength training.
Due to my two herniated disks and one bulged disk I hadn't worked in dead lifts or squats until just last week so, I really don't have any high personal best numbers yet for those. I squatted 135lb 8x and dead lifted 185 5x this week.
Since I started I've had to buy nearly a whole new wardrobe, including new dress shirts, my shoulders and neck no longer fit in the shirts I had last year, it's as if my arms grew longer... the sleeves are all too short now... which is of course a good thing!
Of course I'm far from an Adonis yet but I do look more defined in person than in the after photo below, the flash really flattens me out. I have to work on the lighting for next time.
Before: October 2009, 294lb, 48 inch waist
Current: March 2011, 258lb, 38 inch waist
