Multivitamin Info Thread

I use a Universal brand 1-pill multi and it tastes like s***, Im always burping up the flavor and it makes me cringe. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/univ/daily.html
The upside is that it is super super cheap and probably a lot better than One-a-days and those other commercial multis.

Went over ADAM its updated on the first page. Great Multi. Im not sure i would choose ADAM over triad as i love the immune,joint, and digestion support

MHP Activite Sport looks really good but somewhat pricey.

Might go over it i forgot about this multi totally but it looks very good.

Great thread. Most people don't have the slightest clue about different forms of vitamins and minerals.

I love AOR...but I think Ortho-Core could use a small update. I think it's been a few years since the last one.

And to update best forms for you:

B1: Benfotiamine
B2: Riboflavin 5' Phosphate
B5: Pantethine
Folic Acid: 5-Methyltetrahydrofolate

Thanks for the update to the forms changed them on the first page. I believe Ortho-Core has been updated within the last year but im not quite sure. I think Someone like Ledrew or Illa would know as they follow AOR more closely.

I don't know why either, but NO ONE can go wrong with lf for it's price. I will stand by that product til' I die.

I have been taking Life Force for about a year, it is definitely a multivitamins that is value for money. Some people hate the smell of the tablets but you can choose the capsule version.

The men's version contains saw palmetto, it is more for men who have been diagnosed with various prostate problems.

i think that would be a waste of money. just take one or the other. you wouldn't get enough of the complexes in Triad and animal pak would be fine by itself although i personally never recommend it

Thanks for the reply!!!, I was thinking it might work instead of taking 2nd animal pak at night. Which I currently don't do. I'm just looking for the best supplement senrio, money is not really a issue.

you would not be getting the best of orange triad. and if money is not an issue and you dont need joint support go with AOR ortho-core it is hands down the best multi you can get

Never seen this before but compare the included forms to the forms listed in the intro of this thread and do some research

Probably b/c you have to take 4 capsules to = 2 tablets, therefore eliminating the cost savings of Life Force. I would stick with LF tablets or else go with Orange Triad.

I believe there are stores here that sell Ortho-Core for ~$30 so I'll see if I can pick it up. A dollar a day for that multi, I don't think you can go wrong...

Yup I'd love to see a small update for OT:

Benfotiamine for B1
Riboflavin 5' Phosphate for B2
Pantethine for B5
Pyroxidal 5' Phosphate for B6
5 Methyltetrahydrofolate for Folic Acid

Vitamin C as an ascorbate

Raise the amount of copper from 500mcg to 2-3 mg.
Lower cacium and/or raise magnesium to at least 250mg.

Increase chromium to 100mcg

Increase joint complex blend to 3000mg (Glucosamine Sulfate And Chondroitin Sulfate)
Increase flex complex to 2500mg

Remove echinacea since it's not suitable for long term use.

Add an efficacious dose of Curcumin.
