So in America, if you get into a heated argument, are you allowed to pull a gun on them to tell them to stfu and gtfo?

Pretty much this.
Just today, some yellow-bellied snake kicker spit in my spitoon, so I naturally pulled out my gun, pointed it to his feet and told him to start dancing. He didn't do anything for a minute, so I started shooting around his feet.
That sure made him dance.
Although he had the strangest shoes on. They weren't boots at all.
And his dance moves were really strange.Misc Scotch Crew.

No.
You have to be threatened with physical harm.
OR, in some states, on your property, you have the right to kick whomever off of it. If that person refuses to go, you have the right (again in some states) to use the threat of force to remove them, if they still don't go, you can use force.Misc Scotch Crew.

1) most legal gun owners and carriers do everything they possibly can to avoid any kind of heated argument. They know if it gets out of hand, they have the capability to end another persons life.
2)No, you can not just pull out a gun to threaten someone so you can win the argument. This would be assault with a deadly weapon.
