Well, I have to say that I got some good workouts in this week. I'll be heading over with the kids to my Mom and Dad's to get in some swimming all day Saturday. I'll do my best to keep my eating on track but I know I won't get a workout in until Sunday when I get back. It's kind of odd, but I'm noticing some decent gains now that I'm not working out 7 days/week. I guess I'm actually giving my muscles time to recover. I'm gathering it's important due to the fact that I do mostly total body workouts. I dropped another lb, so I'm down to 210 now. Only 25 lbs away from my goal. Honestly, I'm not hitting it as hard as I could be, but I'm doing it right this time. Tightening up on the cheats is going to be my focus for the next few weeks.

Quick Update: It's been extremely hectic lately. I've managed to get in a few decent workouts this week in between knocking out work related BS during the evenings. My food choices have stayed solid. Had a nice strip steak with broccoli last night. I can't tell my baby boy no when he specifically requests steak for dinner.

Alright. I know that I'm not out of it, but I've been able to dig myself out of a major hole @ work. I've been working every night and basically all weekend for quite a while now. I've reorderd some of my supplements and hit the grocery store this weekend to re-stock my fridge. I've basically been blowing my progress on the weekends and cheating. I've been eating out way too much. It's time to buckle down and start hitting it hard.

Ahi Tuna Steaks and broccoli tonight. I was planning on NY Strip, but the kids wanted fish......then they realized it wasn't Salmon or Steel Head and they didn't want it. Oh well, at least they ate half of what I had given them. I'll consider that a small victory. I hit it hard last night, so tonight was a rest night.
Oh yeah, I also got my latest order from Bodybuilding.com....My Animal Pak, CLA 1250 (cause I was almost out), my Orbitape (for measurements) and my new shaker (free gift). I guess I can always use an extra whey shaker.

My sister was in town this week from Charlotte, NC. I ended up taking Friday and Today off work to hang with my family. It was a great weekend, but I didn't get in any decent workouts.....well, other than throwing kids around the pool for 4 days, about 8 hrs a day. I'll be hitting it hard this week though, back at it. Luckily I checked the scale and I'm still on track....haven't gained any over the weekend, but haven't lost any either.

Alright, so a quick update. Work's been freaking crazy as of late. I've been working night and day for the most part. I've promised myself to get in at least 3 days/week regardless of my schedule. I'm setting a new, long term goal for myself. I'm shooting for 180 lbs for the end of next June. Now, I know that's a long way down the road, but I have to continue making steady progress. I haven't posted progress pics in a while due to the fact that I haven't changed all that much lately. I'm planning on updating pics within the next few weeks.....maybe sooner if I get an opportunity.
