Hi, today is my first day on EC (12.5 e + 100mg c 3x a day every 4 hrs). I don't weight much but I am fairly high bf% (will pm pics for an estimate if someone would like to) I am a bit concerned with cardio though. I enjoy running on the treadmill, and I usually do it about every day with my workout, 6.8mph for approx 30 mins, sometimes more, sometimes less.
Today I started with 6.8 mph, but every couple mins I checked my HR to keep it below 180. I don't want to cause myself a heart attack or heart problems from EC. I kept slowing down my pace until I was under 180.
Do you suggest running at a slower pace while on EC? I am being very cautious because I don't want to have any side effects besides appetite suppress/energy. What HR should I watch for, if I continue to run? I never paid attention to it much before except at the end of my running.
I'm 18.
Thanks

For some people walking up stairs is intense cardio... I can't say what moderate is for you. For me, it's mountain biking without going balls out. Enough to be active, but never really out of breath or having my heart rate high.
Some folks could be jogging, others walking on the treadmill with an incline.

I don't have a goal weight, I just want to shed my fat. Like I said, I have a kind of high body fat %, so I would like to get rid of some. I workout at different times of the day, but generally either at 2:30 pm, or at noonish-1pm. Occasionally I work out at 5 or 6 pm but I haven't lately.
Do you mean I shouldn't take EC at all in the day before cardio? I think it's be a little challenging to do that with my schedule.
BTW What I am planning to do is cut for around two months, and hopefully my body will meet my expectations by then. If so, I will eventually slow bulk to gain mass.

I wouldn't take the dose within three hours of your cardio, TBH.
I work out at six and when I use E/C, I will take a morning dose and an afternoon dose, but that's it.
In your case, if you workout at noon, take a morning dose, then run, then take your next dose after, so long as it's not too late or close to your bed time.self-proclaimed huguenot

As soon as i hit 180 Heart Rate,
I dropped intensity and kept it between 163-170
You just gotta know how your body responds to the stress + EC and not push it beyond what you think is your safety zone
My bad i didnt crop picture , soill just put it as url
I also have tried ec before just not with cardioSeek truth and reason

At the end of the day, no one can tell you for sure how your body will respond to stims. I would suggest you start with smaller/fewer dosages to assess tolerance in conjunction with your training program and then go from there.
I just finished a 3 month long cut where I used EC over the last 2 months of it (building up in dosages since I am not a regular stim user) and it worked fine. I even took it before my cardio, which by that point was switched from HIIT to low intensity (walking on treadmill at 10%). I was also ok taking EC before my training sessions. But note that I use a mid/high intensity, low volume approach (8-12 sets of 3), so an elevated heart rate was not an issue.

My diet is extremely clean and I know how many calories I'm eating, and I've eaten very well for the past couple years. I still overate though. Many years ago, like 4-5++, I ate terribly and I'm trying to fix my errors.
I think I'll continue to do my regular cardio, watching my HR. If it goes over about 180, I'll make it less intense.
I'm not in any rush to jump into full EC doses, I plan on taking half doses / 1 full dose + half doses for at least a week. I'm not a stim user but it doesn't seem to be having any bad side effects on me. No jitters or anything. I hope I can sleep tonight 6 or 7 hours after my last dose of EC though.
It seems to me that as long as I don't push myself too hard, I'll be okay. Although I like my cardio, I'll tone it down while on EC, or skip a dose of EC if I really want to do cardio I guess.
