1-1.5g of protein per lb of lean body mass,
.45g of fat minimum per lb of body weight.
Carbs will vary depending on the individual. Consume your minimum requirements for protein and fat first then feast on all the carbs you want with your left over calories. Myself as a example my carb intake varies from 100-200g per day.
Always deal with absolute numbers. Ratios and percentages are not to be used and should be disregarded as a form of measurement when tracking macronutrients.

Protein, fat & carbs need to be sufficient. Protein at least a gram per pound of lean & fat about half a gram. Carbs need to be right for you - some guys don't need lots even on a bulk & others work best with loads.
If any of these are not high enough, then it will matter - and probably matter quite a bit.
But as long as you are eating enough of everything, then the precise nutrient mix isn't likely to be significant.________________________________

Ill repost my comment.
"Ratios don't makes sence. You'll find yourself taking in way to many unneeded nutrients on one side or another. Take into account protein/carbs have 4 calories/G and fat has 9 calories/G. Start with a calorie goal, say 2900c,
W=Weight
P = Protein
F =Fat
aim for
F=.5-.7*W.
P=1.5-2*W.
So... 2900-F(9)+P(4)=X
Take X and divide by 4 (carbs have 4 cal/g) to get the remainder of your calories in carb grams. With dis here formula you will get the exact grams of nutrients your body will need to gain dat der weight. Same goes for cutting and bulking. Your just going to change the calorie variable to where you need. Hope that helps Bra " - MeEngineering Master Race
