No, in many cases people need guidance and direction. Why do you think there is a correctional system? Why dont we just kill every person who commits a crime? They should have already known everything and aspeired to bettering themselves.

What I said - and I made it clear - was that if you cannot differentiate between right and wrong, you should learn how to. If your upbringing was so poor that you cannot decide whether or not it is right or wrong to tie up a dog, set it on fire and throw it into an oven and cook it alive, you have issues you need to sort out. And if you can't you should be locked up to protect society from yourself.

I'm afraid the legal system doesn't work on what they could 'potentially do' you can't book someone because they 'could' move onto human beings.

They killed a puppy in a gruesome manner, but they are still very young and deserve some therapy/counselling/a year or so prison time and a second chance at getting their lives back on track.

and 90 years for animal cruelty, I'm all for zero tolerance for such crimes but isn't 90 years a little extreme, I mean let the punishment fit the crime.
