Starting a new mass gain program

    Hey guys,
I'm 19 years old and have been lifting for about 7 months. I've decided lately that I want to start putting on more mass. These are the programs I've considered so far:
    -Westside for Skinny Bastards
    -Layne Norton's Power/Hypertrophy Routine
    -Scivation Tri-phase

I'm 5'10" and weigh about 140 lbs. Which of those do you think would be the best? Or what other program do you think would work better for me? I know I'm not very big, but I think I'm pretty strong for my size, I just want to put on more mass. Thank you.

Hi, Get your Diet good, cant stress this enough. i was in the same boat as you when i started training, skinny guy.Diet is the key to getting the best gains from your workout.regarding workouts Keep it simple, Imo i would go for 3 day Full Body like starting strengh(or something similar) or Upper lower split. I am starting Laynes P.H.A.T soon tho and see if it works for me.

    Thanks for the advice

As far as diet, I'm a pretty active person (play basketball, ultimate, etc recreationally a few days a week) Do y'all think I should be going for a 3500 calorie diet w/ about 140g of protein daily?

As far as an upper/lower split, do you think Westside for Skinny Bastards would be a good program? My concern is that it's more geared toward building strength than size. Should I not be worried about that?
