Why do people cry over animals? (srs)

I don't get how people can get so emotional over animals. My buddies dog just died and he was bawlin' his eyes out. Wtf. They are animals, not humans. They don't have feelings. Like it's science, they actually don't. Obviously I understand that people should be sad when their pet dies, but crying? Seriously? People need to grow a sack cause it's pathetic. You should cry over a family member or a loved one (of the human race!), not some animal. And people cry over animals that aren't even pets. Like so you shot a deer, nbd. That's what deer are for. We eat deer, and remember, they don't have feelings so gtf over it. And don't try and give me some bs about I have no soul. You miscers know that religion isn't real cause science proves it and thats just logical. Well this is just logical too. People shouldnt cry over animals.

Animals have feelings. Maybe not to the same degree as humans but atleast the basic ability to feel something from a stimulus - pain, happiness, etc.
