Supplement Advice

Hey All,

I wanted some advice on supplements for fat loss and muscle definition. I am currently working out 4-5 days a week and cardio 5 days. I am also taking CLA and Whey. I have tried fat burners in the past (Hydroxycut, Ripped Fuel...) but have found that i am a little sensitive to them.. (headached and get jittery). I was wondering if anyone could suggest some good supplements to take that will aid in my goals.

Thanks for the hepl and advice

Heather

Well then you probably want to stay clear of all the stimulant fat burners (or perhaps use them at half dose).

Green Tea Extract, Sesamin, and ALCAR would be a nice stack that shouldn't cause any stimulant problems.

Bump to this. EGCG, Sesamin, and ALCAR are three of my all-time favorite supplements. What makes them even more favorable is the fact that they have so many health benefits on top of their positive body composition altering benefits. The only thing I would add is some sort of ALA source (e.g. R-ALA) in additon to the ALCAR.

Though this is the supplement forum, I will say that the majority of your success in shedding fat will come from your diet. Do some reading on carb cycling - it looks like an interesting technique.

On the supplement side, I have been looking at Red Acid from Controlled Labs for use later in the spring. There is some decent feedback in the logs section. Also, I am not really sold on CLA.

Good luck!

I have heard good things about melting point. It is a non-stim fat burner, but it can cause major cramping if you don't drink a lot of water.
