No joke, yesterday i hit a PR on bench press, but as the weight increase i notice it's a lot of more effort to my forearms to move the bar.
I have started doing forearms excercises, hope it helps!.
But, is possible to broke your forearms while benching?
I do 4 to 8-10 reps.
