Thread: Morning Cardio.

    Morning Cardio.

    Will doing intense jump rope in the morning also burn muscle I eat some oatmeal and then wait about 1 hour and a half and then go do that for about 25-30 mins. Trying to lose weight and then later on during the day I would do some weight lifting. Need to know if what im doing is okay for losing fat and putting on some muscle.

    Not trying to threadjack, but where did this cardio causes muscle loss bs come from? Look at football players. Does running around for hours cause them to lose muscle? WTF...

    what burns muscle is when you're not eating before doing morning cardio. Our body takes energy from muscles first not with our fats.

    I think it uses glycogen first. And if he ate at least one decent meal the day before he should be fine.

    I've been doing morning cardio (recently using HIIT) for years now, and so far it has been giving me results. Plus, at night i'd rather relax after working all day and taking care of the kids, than to hop on the treadmill.
