Hello this is Emmy aka Gymcandy 397,
It has been a long while since I posted on here, at least over 10 yrs ago. Is there any one my age, Female 54 or in their 50's or older or any males in their 50's & older that are "still" taking Diet Pills/Fat Burners. I say this because for god knows how long, I think from when I was in my late 20's or 30 some odd yrs old, I discovered these & started using them. I would cycle them & then take a few weeks or months off. I think the longest I took off was like 2 yrs, but I was younger then, like in my 30's, & NOW at 54 I am still cycling Diet/Fat Burner pills. I took off about 2 mnths, and just started a week ago on another kind of Fat burner. Wanted to try something different then the one I was using before.
I due take Triple strength Liquid L Carnitine 3000(2 Tbls) and my Amino Acids, BCAA'S, L-Arginine & L-Ornithine ONLY on the days I work out which is 5-6 days. The other day's I don't take them at all. My main thing is does anyone else still do this(Diet/Fat Burners) @ our age? I have been working out since I was 20, but got wayyy into weight training now as opposed to when I was in my early 20's & 30's. Never competed, even though I would like to, but don't have the $$$$ or the guidance. I watch people at the gym to get new ideas & sometimes I strike up conversations to find out what/why they do this particular move. At this age, I don't think I want to use the more "dangerous" kind of pills that BB woman use or Figure/Bikini competitors use cause I am afraid of internal health issues it can cause let alone the cost of them.
Any feed back would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Emmy! Me.jpg(Last year in April 2017) Age 53!

Your supplements are all a waste of money.
Carnitine is worthless, but depending on your goals and wants ALCAR or LCLT might be beneficial.
BCAAs, as well as any free-form amino acid, are worthless if you're meeting your macro. If you are doing so you're getting plenty of aminos. If you're not meeting your macro, fix that problem.
As for fat burners most are garbage and many others are just stims. Diet is what dictates fat loss. A decent product may be useful at lower levels of body fat or you're wanting a stimulant of some sort."I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."
