    Why dont I feel my chest when I do my chest workout?

    Ive been going to be the gym for about 5 months now and I do a chest work out which includes

    Incline wide grip barbell press (recently, maybe 1 month)
    Dumb bell Press
    Incline dumb bell press
    Pec decs
    Wide push ups (recently about 2 weeks now)
    Not a fan of flies, although I know there good.

    The only exercise I feel in my chest is the pec decs.

    I am pretty sure I have been doing everything else with proper form but I do not feel any thing in my chest after I do them. Usually just shoulders and arms get tired.

    Suggestions?

    Do you mean not feeling them as in not getting sore the next day? If you are making regular increases in weight or reps you're gaining strength whether you feel them or not. You can try dropping the weight down a bit and try concentrating on the chest more during the exercise or if you're arms feel tired too quickly try doing a pre-exhaust method of using the pec dec or flyes first and then bench. Just keep in mind that once you get used to the same workout it is not uncommon to not feel especially sore afterwords. It just may be an indication that it may be time to change some things up a bit.

    Maybe your not squeezing? I think its normal for your Tri's to give out but you should squeeze the chest hard when doing chest.

    te bro to get a crazy pump in ur chest .. Try push up wide pushup 10 jump to normal push up 10 rep and then jump to diamonds 10 rep with out gettin up .
    Do 5 set of 30
    And do wit ur usual chest workout
    Like incline do 5 set of 10,
    And flat bench 5 set of 10,
    And flys 5 set 10 ..
    And u could more that's ur option Brahh.

    without seeing a video on your form i would say you are not pulling your shoulder blades back and sticking your chest out(srs).
    You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

    too much incline pressing. Add flies, get the form down and imagine hugging a big ass pokeball.
