You need to work on your grip strength. Maybe throw some farmers walks and static holds into your routine. Let me know if you need to know how to peform these.

Grab a dumbell in each hand, walk for a long as possible while holding the dumbells until your grip gives out. Simple as that.

Do lots of forearm isolation exercises. I seriously almost doubled my grip strength just doing curls and extensions.
I remember having trouble squeezing those barbell locks onto the sides of the bar when I started... with two hands! Now I easily do them with 1 hand.Curls: 45x7(per arm)
Bar Curl: 90x7
Squats: 225x6
Leg Press: 600x6
Skullcrusher: 85x7
DB Bench: 80x5
Incline DB Bench: 67.5x8
Shoulder DB Press: 60x7
DB Row: 87.5x8
DB Flys: 50x8
DB Shrugs: 90x6

While I am not a big fan of lifting straps and I do agree with those that suggest improving your forearm strength, if you still want to use straps until your grip catches up you could try lifting hooks seen here...

Again, you should still increase your grip...I had the same problem and now my straps hang on the wall collecting dust.
You should check out this site.

The $18.00 - $20.00 would be better spent on items that would improve your grip.Vae Victus
