    Back Sore after Chest Day

    The other day I did chest but my upper-inner back muscle are sore, never happened but is it okay to do back today still?

    It should be fine to do back as long as you had a day between them.
    If you experience any pain (not soreness) while lifting, I'd back off tho.

    I do leg/chest/back all in a row so thers not a day off. It's not pain, but its soreness j/w if its normal

    edit:

    did db press, incline bb press, dips (bodyweight to failure), decline bb press, crap load of flies and finished with some pushup

    I get the same thing. My back is always sore after chest day. Very weird. I still train back the day after chest though

    I have experienced sore lats after a heavy barbell/DB bench chest workout a few months ago when I started hitting the gym hard. It could be that.
