I work at a gym and have been talking to some of the really big and lean guys lately and it seems that everything that everyone says on here that is broscience is what they actually do and believe in- and seems to be working wonders

Your experience is quite different from mine. The most jacked men/women I know/have known all stay away from the broscience BS. This group has included, at one time or another, 2 NPC-level bodybuilders, an entire group of powerlifters, one of whom held my state's Deadlift record, one fitness competitor, as well as any number of regular gym-goers who look the part, and who eat and train in reasonable fashion.
No brain, no gain.
"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon

Maybe they're the most consistent regardless of their misguided nutritional beliefs.
Maybe they're getting all their macros accounted for inadvertently regardless of what they talk about.
Maybe they work their asses off.
Maybe it's the Celtech."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1
Also, taxation is theft.

a lot of broscience is just the old methodology of bodybuilding that we now know to be unnecessary. what you see at your gym is people who have been committed to the sport for a very long time. the result of this commitment is a) a physique that represents years of hard work and dedication and b) the practices/beliefs they learned when they were beginners, which have since been deemed broscience

^All of this.
Also, I guarantee that for every Hyuuge Brah in there eating his 6 meals a day, slamming a high GI/whey shake immediately post w/o, no carbs after 6pm, etc., There are 10 guys trying to follow those same bro-sci guidelines who are tiny and weak. The above statement/post does not represent the opinions of anyone in real life. This is the internet. Not real life. Anyone who cannot grasp the difference between the two lacks the basic intelligence necessary for survival and should not be allowed to form opinions.

This reminds me of Jared and Subway. He lost weight because he happened to be eating at a calorie deficit and exercising - not because he ate Subway. They're gaining muscle because they happen to getting enough calories/protein/sleep/etc. - not because of their meal timing, excess protein or whatever else they swear "works."

Probably due to this
