    sorry wasn't more specific.. They'll get older and their met rate will slow down and if their activity doesn't stay the same and they eat the same sh*tty foods they are now it will catch up to them..

    I didn't read the whole thread but my theory is the people dedicated enough to eat 6 "clean" meals a day as opposed to however many they want/whatever they want within reason are also the people dedicated enough to consistently bust their ass in the gym day in and day out. no excuses (I'm with my bf/gf, i have hw, I'm tired, I had to work a double today, I'm on vacation etc.....), they just get it done.

    also before everyone jumps on me many of the people who just make sure to hit their macros w/o eating "clean" are extremely dedicated, so this theory doesn't apply to everyone, its a generalization. This is just my observation from what I've seen at my gym, wth my friends. The ones who eat "clean" generally are the guys I see every night, and the skinny kids I see eatig bags of chips on their way in don't seem to work out as frequently/as hard

    Hey Cumul, I went back and read some of your stuff yesterday, and in the beginning you were one of the biggest broscientists here. 8 uber clean meals a day, broccoli up the azz.

    Just wondering when did the changes to your diet occur? How did it happen? Were you initially afraid to start eating ice cream for instance, or was it a gradual thing?

    I changed my diet after I was able to eat over 2000 calories and once my ghrelin levels *somewhat* settled. 425g cho and starvin like a mofo. ugh. When dieting I went more for satiety.

    Lol none of that, his foods just gave me sweet ideas, such as yogurt and cereal mixes and cinnamon french toast. I still ate sweets during my prep, but I tried to consume a lot of high volume low calorie foods to keep me just a tad fuller in the tummy.
