    Overall lat development will increase width.

    IMO though wide grip pull ups/downs target more of the rear delts and middle back where as medium/close grip has greater emphasis on the lats, espically the lower lats.

    I would understand if you did wide grip pull downs but you do medium/close.

    Pull ups are king for lats. T-bar row is more thickness.

    Pull-overs are also amazing, especially the machine pull over. the king dorian used to love :P
