Anyone else have this problem?
I mean it seems my right chest, arms and biceps are all bigger and stronger than my left.
I always fail on reps on my left side that i can complete on my right side.
keep in mind i just started working out like a month or so ago. but still.

Are you right handed?
I'm right handed.
My right arm is stronger than my left. However my left shoulder and upper trap is stronger than my right shoulder and trap. This comes from compensating for lack of strength in the left arm with the shoulder complex .
Unless you grew up ambidextrous that's just how it be.....

it will take you longer than a month to correct muscle imbalances if you are just starting to lift. With that being said, i have never met a lifter yet who has every muscle exactly proportionate in size and measurement on both sides. My arms have a half inch difference but the are relatively similar in strength so i could care less. Just stick to what your doing, and eventually you'll find your imbalances become less so.

except for the fact u made dumbbells two words, what would be wrong with somebody with an imbalance using dumbells? Im not an advocate of doing a different number of reps with your right and left side, but there is nothing wrong with using dumbbells to help strengthen a weak muscle, instead of having the stronger side always carry the imbalance.

my left pec is bigger than my right, but my right arm and shoulder is bigger than my left because it had to make up for the arm and shoulder difference. Dont worry too much about it OP it will slowly correct itself overtime just do alot of one armed movements to help even it out (ie. dumbbells)

kind of a similar problem
Had this problem earlier but was hard to notice earlier , but after wrist fracture it became quite noticeable , my right hand was fractured and caused right sided triceps , biceps , forearms even chest to either shrink or left sided gained a lil more muscle , any word of advice over this on how to make both even would be appreciated,
Thanks.
