One of the reasons we came out with Animal Rage was because we felt there was a void, there didn't seem to be any supplements that were as strong as those with 1,3 in it. We wanted something that would be as strong but without the side effects and we delivered big time.
Animal Rage is very strong yet it's long lasting and no sides, no crashes, no stim dick. The increased focus on it is awesome, you feel "locked in" every workout.Free Agent

There has been updates on this controversy recently in regards to linking DMAA to Geranium Oil.
SILVER SPRING, Md. (August 11, 2011) -- The American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) recently announced a trade requirement for the labeling of products containing the ingredient 1,3-dimethylamylamine (DMAA).
The trade requirement, which becomes effective on January 13, 2012, requires that AHPA members do not label 1,3-dimethylamylamine, whether identified by this name or any synonym, as geranium oil or as any part of the geranium plant, whether by the common name of geranium or by the botanical name of any plant known as geranium. Nothing in the new requirement prevents labeling of any compound that is in fact derived from geranium plant materials by that compound's common or usual name.
"AHPA's new policy is limited only to labeling of products that contain DMAA as an ingredient," said Michael McGuffin, AHPA's president. "Some news reports have indicated, or appear to indicate, that AHPA has reached the conclusion that DMAA cannot be found in geranium oil. AHPA has reached no such conclusion."
In an August 8 statement to announce this policy, AHPA referenced a review of one published study that reported DMAA as a naturally occurring constituent of the geranium species, Pelargonium spp. In this announcement, AHPA inadvertently stated that there are no known-published reports indicating that DMAA is a natural product. This was a misstatement since the announcement noted the study, by Pinget al. (Ping Z, Jun Q, Qing L. A study on the chemical constituents of geranium oil.Journal of Guizhou Institute of Technology 1996;25:82-85), which identified the presence of DMAA in geranium.
In the interim, AHPA has been informed by an analytical chemist and an AHPA member that they have initiated new research on the chemistry of geranium. Both have reported that their preliminary results indicate the presence of DMAA, and some effort to validate these results is now planned.Supreme Leader of Thermolife

I took jacked for a while before working out and did experience the high feeling. I felt so good while working out and often crashed afterwards. I later tried it before fball practice for a few weeks and thats when things got bad. I got VERY depressed but didnt have any clue that jacked was mostly to blame until i got off of it and felt better then went back on and same thing happened. Havent took any since.

I feel all the same effects, happy, energized like the energizer bunny, could run forever. I don't really crash as a matter fact it keeps me up so long which sucks but sometimes I do experience a down feeling after the energy wears off and sometimes I just remain in a good mood and extra talkative

You are correct. If you are consuming strait DMAA extract there is usually no side effects of the heart palpitations etc.. I have been consuming it for over a year, on and off, with no problems. NOW, as for working out on it...I guess I should lower the dose since I am consuming well over 100mg at a time. See, DMAA is a sister analog of Ecstasy MDMA and in larger doses it can really intoxicate but it's "fat burning" ability is still present since it is causing a larger release of norepinephrine. And this **** really does good for my metabolism (ie ~10lbs a month of fat loss with minimal working out). I totally agree with you that it is probably the caffeine coupled with the other additives in those supplements. If you are looking to try to add this to your workout "stack" get it off of amazon. I recently purchased 50grams for ~$40, and that's about 500-1000 doses depending on if you are taking 50-100mg a pop.
