Best article on benching ever. I read this every once in a while and make sure I'm following it. There's a lot of nuances but it ultimately helps in your bench.

Hopefully you read it. If not, the article mentions nothing about chin tuck. So, it seems that it's preference but I'd imagine that it would strain your neck like CashMoney said.

Generally speaking, contorting you neck/spine in any way that feels unnatural or forcing yourself into a position that goes against your body's natural mechanics is usually not a great thing to do. I can't comment on why some people do this (I have seen it too) but as stated, usually best to keep things in a normal, "in-line" position.

Up until september of last year, I had really long dreadlocks so I was used to having a mass of hair elevating my head whenever I bench pressed. No that I'm a baldie, I find myself subconsciously lifting my head on difficult sets. Its definitely not uncomfortable one way or the other.
Having dreads for 10+ years and then cutting them makes for a strange adjustment. I'm still not totally there yet.
