That's abnormal. You may have Klinefelter's syndrome or some other hormonal problem. I would go see a doctor or endocrinologist.

My hips were wider than my chest before I started training, strong idiocy ITT. Not everyone is born with a perfect V-taper, some have naturally wide bone structure at their hips/pelvis. They also store fat around the lovehandles making it look doubly worse.

Used to be bad as fuk cuzz - widening dem lats and chest and dropping fat makes it look better.

Oh, eating more is as simple as...eating more. I don't understand how that can possibly be elaborated on.

My hips are wider than my chest too.

Edit: Good news is a few weeks on SS has narrowed the gap a ton.

    but he weighs 118lbs.....

unless you have absolutely TERRIBLE genetics I don't see how a 118lb skinny person can have wider hips than their chest. it may be equal or SLIGHTLY wider but to what he was explaining doesn't sound normal.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and say fuk no, wide hips are a sign of being genetically predisposed that way. I know you're a smart cookie but come on man. If he was growing bitch tits, then I'd totally agree with you. He's just scrawny with a bad structure.
